Our Services

Safety Services

Our Safety Services are always available when families need them most. We respond swiftly, with a maximum 24-hour turnaround, delivering support both on weekdays and weekends. Our team brings real-world experience from active child welfare cases and is ready to intervene in urgent situations. Each family receives a thorough, professional risk assessment and a detailed, actionable safety plan, so every member of the household can feel secure and protected.

Change Services

Change Services at Greater New Hope are all about equipping families with the tools for positive transformation. Our practical, hands-on parenting classes build strong foundations for caregivers, fostering healthy communication and effective discipline. We also guide families through robust financial planning, setting achievable goals and ensuring lasting stability. Throughout the year, we facilitate engaging family activities, bringing parents and children together to build bonds, celebrate growth, and create new, joyful memories.

Support Services

Support Services offer essential, ongoing assistance for families facing obstacles big and small. We provide safe transportation to vital appointments, supply food and clothing when times are tough, and help parents access child care as they seek new opportunities. Our team organizes fun, enriching outings for children and families to enjoy together, while also connecting each household to a network of additional community and denominational resources—ensuring no one is left to face their challenges alone.

Mental Health Services

Mental Health Services at Greater New Hope Family Services offer a BIPOC-led mental health service that provides person-centered, trauma-informed counseling for individuals, couples, families, and groups. By blending evidence-based therapies with holistic care, our diverse clinicians create a safe, culturally responsive space where clients can alleviate symptoms, deepen self-understanding, and build healthier, more fulfilling lives through collaborative goal-setting and genuine partnership.
